The La Crosse Omnium calls upon a diverse "three-event" mastery of bike racing skills. Enter one event, two, or all three as points scored in each event accumulate toward the Omnium Championship.
Hill Time Trial | Details/Directions
Stage one kicks off Friday night with an uphill Time Trial that conquers La Crosse's famous Grandad Bluff and climbs 686 feet in 2.37 miles.
Criterium | Details/Directions
Stage two racing action picks up Saturday morning on a fast and flat Criterium course in front of overflow race fans caught up in a festival of food, drink and live rock and roll music (band performs live from 10am to 2pm in Riverside Park) on the downtown streets of La Crosse.
Road Race | Details/Directions
Stage three concludes on Sunday morning a few short miles across the river in Minnesota. Our road race course tests a riders ability to compete at an intense level on a 13.69-mile loop that features 978 feet of elevation change per lap, heart stopping climbs, take your breath away descents and quad burning rollers.Points and Scoring
Riders are welcome to participate in one event, two, or all three as points scored in each event accumulate toward the Omnium Championship. Points will be awarded in the individual races based on your order of finish and place in the individual race. Those points will be totaled to determine the overall Omnium Champion. Prizes will also be awarded for individual races and by race categories. USA Cycling sanctions the La Crosse Omnium.

Opportunities to get dropped
The La Crosse Omnium is part of the Festival Foods Grandad Half Marathon, a three-day outdoor aerobic celebration held each year on the first weekend in May. In addition to the La Crosse Omnium, activities include a half marathon, 5K race and more. There is also a 32 and 62 mile bike tour.
